Terms of Service
Version 1.0, effective 19 October 2026.
1. Who we are and these terms
LuvoScore is provided by Luvo Pty Ltd (ABN 67 603 011 392), Sydney NSW (“we”, “us”). These terms apply when you create an account or use LuvoScore. By creating an account you agree to them. If you use LuvoScore for a business, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for that business, and “you” includes it.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other law that can't lawfully be excluded.
2. What LuvoScore does
LuvoScore runs automated tests on websites and produces a score, maturity levels and a list of issues across areas such as functionality, security, privacy, accessibility, reliability, performance, professional finish and search. Some explanations and some observations are written by AI.
- Free scans load a limited number of pages from the site, as a visitor would, and request a small number of standard addresses (for example robots.txt, a sitemap and a page that shouldn't exist). On sites confirmed as yours, we also check whether well-known files that are sometimes left exposed, such as configuration files, can be downloaded.
- Deep scans (paid plan) also click buttons outside forms, open menus, check whether common private-looking pages open without signing in, and let an AI tester attempt common customer tasks. Forms are filled in and sent only on sites confirmed as yours (see section 4).
- Weekly re-scans (paid plan) repeat a deep scan of each covered site about once a week, without sending forms, until you switch them off, remove the site or your subscription ends.
3. What a score means
A score is an automated, point-in-time assessment of the pages and features our tests could reach when the scan ran. Tests are limited in number and scope, can miss problems and can occasionally report something that isn't a problem. Results marked “needs review” and AI-only observations should be checked by a person and don't change your score. LuvoScore doesn't guarantee that a site is secure, accessible or legally compliant, and it isn't legal advice. A score isn't reviewed by a person unless we agree to do that with you separately.
4. Permission to scan
You may only scan websites you own or are authorised to test. Testing a site without permission can be unlawful. When you add a website you must confirm this, and we record when you did. Specifically:
- Which addresses. A scan covers the website address you add and pages on the same domain or its subdomains that we reach by following its links. You must be authorised for all of them, including any staging or test environments you add.
- Agencies and contractors. If you scan a client's site, you must have the client's permission to test it in the way described here (including sending test forms), and keep a record you can show us if asked. Confirming a site through an email address on that domain doesn't replace the client's permission.
- Third-party services. Websites often send forms and other data to third parties (for example email, CRM, booking, chat, analytics or payment providers). Owning a domain doesn't, by itself, give permission to test someone else's systems. Our tests don't send forms that post directly to another company's service, and they block form data the page tries to send to other services while we test (other than captcha checks). These forms are listed in your report so you can check them yourself.
- Signed-in areas. LuvoScore doesn't ask for, store or use your passwords, and doesn't sign in to your site with real accounts. On a confirmed site, the AI tester may complete a public sign-up form using our labelled test details, which can create a test account on your site. Please remove those test accounts if you don't want them.
- Confirming a site. Before forms are sent, the site must be confirmed as yours (by an email address on the domain, a link sent to a contact address published on the site, or a meta tag or DNS record). A confirmation lasts 12 months. LuvoScore staff may run deep scans of a site without this confirmation only when the site owner has given them permission, and they record how that permission was given.
- Withdrawing permission or changes in ownership. You can stop future scans at any time by switching off weekly re-scans or removing the site in My sites. If you stop being authorised (for example the site is sold or a client engagement ends), you must remove the site straight away. Site owners who didn't authorise a scan can contact us to stop it.
5. Our testing safeguards
- Test data is clearly labelled as an automated LuvoScore test and uses email addresses on luvoscore.com. Payment forms and search forms are never filled in, and payment details are never entered.
- On a confirmed site, each form we test may be submitted up to three times: once empty (to check validation) and once with test data using a double click (to check for duplicate submissions). Login forms are tried once with a wrong password and never with real credentials. Up to six forms are tested per scan. The AI tester may also send one enquiry and complete one sign-up.
- Buttons and links whose wording suggests deleting, cancelling, paying, buying, sending, submitting, publishing, booking or signing out are skipped. Because this relies on how controls are labelled, it reduces but can't eliminate the chance of an unintended action, so please tell us if a scan caused a problem.
- Scans only connect to public internet addresses and keep to a limited number of pages.
6. Plans, prices and billing
The free plan covers one website, which you can re-scan (subject to daily limits). The paid plan covers up to three websites per account for A$99 plus GST (A$108.90 including GST) per month, billed in advance in Australian dollars through Stripe from the day you subscribe. It renews automatically each month until cancelled. Stripe issues an invoice for each payment.
There's currently one paid plan. If your subscription ends, websites beyond the free plan's limit are paused until you subscribe again.
7. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time in My sites by choosing Manage billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep paid features until the end of the period you've paid for. To avoid the next charge, cancel before the renewal date shown in Manage billing. You can also close your account by emailing us (section 16).
8. Failed payments, failed scans and outages
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may retry it and ask you to update your card. While a payment is overdue, paid features are paused. If it remains unpaid, the subscription may end.
Scans can fail or be incomplete, for example if a site is slow, blocks automated browsers or is protected by a captcha. You can run the scan again. We work to keep LuvoScore available but can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may pause it for maintenance.
9. Refunds
We don't generally refund part-months when you cancel. However, our services come with guarantees that can't be excluded under the ACL. If the service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy, which can include a refund. Contact us and we'll work through it with you.
10. Changes to prices and these terms
We'll email you at least 30 days before a price increase, or a change to these terms that materially disadvantages you, takes effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect, and the current terms and price apply until the end of your paid period.
11. Your content and your reports
You keep all rights in your website and its content. You give us permission to access, copy (for example as screenshots and text extracts) and process it only to provide LuvoScore to you, including sending it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy. You may use, copy and share your own reports. We keep the rights in the LuvoScore software, checks and report designs.
12. Confidentiality and report links
We treat the details of your reports, including security findings, screenshots and anything private we come across, as confidential. Only you and authorised LuvoScore staff can see the full details (fixes, exact locations and AI tester steps). Anyone who has a report's link can see its summary, including the score, issue titles and the contact email shown on the site. Links are long and hard to guess, but please share them with care. Don't disclose another person's security findings without their permission.
13. Acceptable use
Don't use LuvoScore to scan sites you're not authorised to test, to overload or disrupt any site, to get around our limits or safeguards, or for anything unlawful.
14. Suspension and ending these terms
We may suspend scans or close an account if you scan sites without permission, if we reasonably believe a scan is causing harm, for non-payment, or if the law requires it. Where it's reasonable and safe, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we end the service for reasons that aren't your fault, we'll refund fees you've paid for the period after it ends.
15. Liability
Subject to section 1 and to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This limit doesn't apply to liability that can't legally be limited, or to loss caused by our fraud or wilful misconduct. You're responsible for losses caused by your scans of sites you weren't authorised to test, except to the extent we caused them.
16. Support, complaints and disputes
For help, email hello@luvoscore.com. If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first and we'll try in good faith to resolve it. These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.
